Thieves essential oil is one of our year-round favorites, but it is a great addition to your springtime routine! This spicy oil blend is our go-to for cleaning and household DIYs as well as diffuser blends. Check out some of these spring-inspired recipes for your Thieves oil!
THIEVES SPRINGTIME DIFFUSER BLENDS
- Spring Breeze: 4 drops each Lime, Grapefruit, 3 drops Thieves
- Herb Garden: 4 drops Lime, 3 drops Lavender, 3 drops Rosemary, 2 drops Thieves
- Spring Clean: 4 drops each of Lemon, Lime, 2 drops each Rosemary, Thieves
- Open Windows: 3 Jade Lemon, Grapefruit, Vanilla, Thieves
THIEVES SPRINGTIME HOME & CLEANING RECIPES
- DIY Scented Sachets – bring a crisp, happy aroma to any area of your home.
- ½ cup uncooked rice
- ¼ cup Epsom salt
- 1 cup dried lavender buds
- Muslin cotton drawstring pouches, approximately 6 inches long by 4 inches wide
- 30 drops Lime
- 20 drops Thieves
- In a medium bowl, mix rice, Epsom salt, flower buds, and essential oil to thoroughly scent the mixture. Spoon mixture into your muslin pouch. Place anywhere you want to add a fresh lavender scent. Refresh your pouch every 2-3 weeks by opening it up and adding more drops of essential oil.
- Thieves the Day Laundry Scent Booster:
- To a large glass jar with airtight lid add
- 1 1/2 cup epsom salt
- 1/2 cup baking soda
- 30 drops Thieves (or mix Thieves and Lemon)
- Whisk together until all ingredients are well combined.
- To use: add 1-2 Tbl into the washer before adding any laundry. Add laundry and the normal amount of laundry detergent.
- Citrus Spice Thieves Cleaner
- 16 oz glass spray bottle
- 1-2 capfuls Thieves Household Cleaner
- 15 drops each Tangerine, Jade Lemon
- 20 drops Thieves
- Filtered water
- Citrus Twist Room Spray – to make everything smell amazing!
- 2 oz glass spray bottle
- 20 drops Thieves
- 10 drops Lemon or Grapefruit (optional)
- Splash organic witch hazel
- Fill with filtered water
- Spring Refresh Carpet & Rug Freshener
- To a glass jar add:
- 1 cup baking soda
- ½ cup salt
- 20 drops each Lemon or Jade Lemon, Thieves
- Mix well. When ready to use, sprinkle over carpets and let sit for 10 minutes before vacuuming.
- Freshen Up Mattress & Upholstery Spray – use when you change the sheets or anytime a surface needs a little freshening:
- 16 oz glass spray bottle
- 1-2 tsp Thieves Household Cleaner
- 20 drops each Thieves, Lavender, Jade Lemon
- Filtered water

- 2 oz pump bottle OR 30mL roller bottle
- 15 drops Lavender

- 10 drops Thieves

- 20 drops each Lavender, Lemon, Peppermint

- ½ cup magnesium flakes

- 1-2 oz NingXia Red
- 1 teaspoon Sulfurzyme Powder
- 1 drop Thieves Vitality essential oil
- Water
